The volunteers who help run One Love Rescue are mainly based in Crete, however we also have some helping hands in the UK!

Meet Geoff
Geoff is the hands-on, Mr Fix-it that does a bit/a lot of everything to keep One Love running!
This involves attending reports of dogs in distress, bringing them back to One Love, vets visits, taking the dogs to their forever homes (even abroad!), taking the dogs to the airports, building, fixing and creating the shelter itself.
Geoff has a unique way of bonding with the most fragile and scared dogs and works so hard to build up that trust and relationship that helps the dogs trust humans again.
You name it, Geoff does it! And we are the luckiest people on the island to have Geoff, his love and care for the animals is second to none.

The team in the UK!
In the UK, we have a handful of volunteers who carry out the following tasks:
Design and distribute out merchandise from the UK
Design, build, run, maintain and update our website
Assist with picking up dogs from London Airports (Southend, Stansted, Gatwick, London City, Heathrow, Luton, Cambridge, Norwich), as they are based in Essex
Run planned and ongoing fundraising events
Assist with social media
And whatever else we can to support and help our hardworking friends in Crete
